The article deals with assessment of particular investment alternatives of Moravian-Silesian company DvB-Af s.r.o. in San Fernando underground mine in Colombia. The investment is focused on the delivery of mechanised mining equipment to increase mining productivity. To assess possible investment variants, following methods were used: Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Payback Period (PP). Consideration of impact on sustainability of Colombian miners employment is also the integral part of the assessment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
