Abstrakt: The article discusses various methods in evaluating the response of patients to fluids as hemodynamic and volumetric parameters are not considered predictors. Topics covered include measuring cardiac output based on fluid challenge, assessing cardiopulmonary interaction through different variations in pulse pressure, stroke volume, and systolic pressure, and the significance of studying the central venous pressure during a decrease in pleural pressure based on Guyton's approach.
