Abstrakt:	The article discusses the proposed elimination of the clean slate procedure in pretrial diversions which allow domestic violence (DV) offenders to have their DV crimes expunged from their criminal records after successfully complying with specified court orders regarding programs such as psychiatric and domestic abuse counseling. The legal rights and obligations of male abusers and the victims of domestic abuse are examined, along with arrest laws and criminal law reform in America.
