The article presents a report on the occurrence of Cantor's Leaf-nosed Bat Hipposideros Galeritus in Odisha, India and an additional distribution record in eastern India.on additional in 1846. Topics include the species distinguished from other congeners as it was having dark brown pelage and nose leaf simple along with two pairs of lateral leaflets, occurrence of the microchiropteran species overlooked by earlier workers, and occurrence of the species reported from Bonai and Gupteswar area. |
