The article describes the case of a 42-year-old human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-seropositive male construction worker on irregular treatment with antiretroviral therapy who presented with an asymptomatic ulcer involving the distal phalanx on his finger and was diagnosed with bacillary angiomatosis. Topics discussed include treatment with oral doxycycline and morphological presentations of bacillary angiomatosis. |
