| Abstrakt: | The plasminogen system is a wellstudied proteolytic system involving zymogen, plasminogen, and the active protease, plasmin.Plasmin directly or indirectly regulates enzymes involved in proteolysis of the extracellular matrix allowing cell migration and hence plays a role in a variety of pathophysiological processes such as tumor growth and angiogenesis.
