Presents a study which investigated the interaural time difference (ITD) discrimination thresholds for single neurons in the inferior colliculus of guinea pigs. Factors which affect sensitivity to a change in stimulus; Change in the ITD of pure tones detectable by humans; Distribution of unit ITD just noticeable differences as function of signal frequency. |
