The article discusses the feasibility and acceptability pilot study of Team Clinics carried out before starting of a controlled trial program on Alternative medical care approaches, specifically shared medical appointments (SMAs). Topics discussed include several benefits of SMAs which includes increased patient satisfaction, maximized billing, and improved outcomes in patient populations and clinical SMAs as a feasible, sustainable clinical care approach for adolescents with type 1 diabetes. |
