The article discusses the opposition of hyper-incarceration should be the focus of the Anti- Domestic Violence Movement. Topics discussed include impact of negative effects of hyper-incarceration on risks for domestic violence, the Violence Against Women Act of 1994 (VAWA) and economic and emotional harms to the families of incarcerated people. |
