Information about the 2014 Association for the Rhetoric of Science and Tech pre-conference held at the National Communication Association in 2014 titled "Expertise and Data in the Articulation of Risk" on risk communication is presented. Topics discussed include several papers that discuss response of public towards articulations of risk, funding of risk communication by private enterprise, public response to nuclear power risk and public response to burdens of proof and expertise. |
