The article discusses a study that quantified the life of Ti-MoS2 coatings in their operation as a solid lubricant for rolling environments in vacuum and humid air environments. The study deposited and characterized Ti-MoS2 and investigated their tribological properties under sliding and rolling contact in both humid air and vacuum. |
