Abstrakt:	The author reflects on his visit to the Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in El Salvador in line with the Jesuit martyrs, Ignacio Martín-Baró or Nacho, who was killed at UCA during the Salvadoran Civil War and Dean Brackley who transferred to UCA after the massacre. Topics covered include the background of Nacho and Dean, the social conditions in the country and the impact of the visit on the author's attitude as a Jesuit university president.
