Abstrakt:	The article discusses several developments involving New York's zoning and land use laws as of September 2015, including information about appellate court decisions dealing with topics such as hydraulic fracturing (hydrofracking), New York's Constitution, and the state's Municipal Home Rule Law. Preemption is addressed in relation to correctional facilities and cemeteries. Variances and statutes of limitation are examined, as well as special permits and municipal laws in New York.
