The article discusses legislative proposals in relation to the program integrity section of the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' (CMS) budget. Topics discussed include the use of recovery audit contractors (RACs) to prevent Medicare abuse and fraud, the expansion of funding and authority for the integrity program for Medicaid, and the establishment of gifting authority for the public-private partnership Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership. |
