Learning Oriented Assessment: putting learning, teaching and assessment together.

Abstrakt: The article looks at the benefits and implications of adopting and implementing a classroom-based Learning Oriented Assessment model for English language teachers. Topics discussed include the various challenges in the modern classroom, a model of learning oriented assessment, and examples and the elements of learning oriented assessment in practice. Also noted is the importance of teacher training and familiarisation as an element for understanding and fully adopting the model.
