Abstrakt: The article examines the views of French philosopher Gilles Deleuze on mannerism and baroque in music, highlighting several of his books including "A Thousand Plateaus" co-wrote by Félix Guattari. Deleuze reportedly believes that baroque is based on classicism while romanticism and modernism are stylistic ages. Other topics include baroque as a precursor to modernism, the differences between baroque and mannerism, and Deleuze's concept of mannerism
