| Abstrakt: | The article discuses work of renowned European baroque poet, Luis de Gongora Argote. Topics discused include information on the first literary publication of Argote in 1604, which was written to commemorate the birth of Don Rodrigo Sarmiento de Silva y Villandrando, eighth count of Salinas; expression of "pastoral cayado" employed by Argote to denotes the Christian faith, pastoral authority, and a shepherd's vigilance and information on other literary publications of the author. |
