Abstrakt: The article presents a study of variation on heart rate during tactical pistol performance and rest. 28 participants were studied during the match and at rest and time domain variables including interbeat interval (IBI), low frequency (LF), high frequency (HF) and total power (TP) were measured during rest and shooting and the differences studied. The study concludes that heart rate variability may be used to examine team cohesion and adaptive versus maladaptive environments.
