Abstrakt: The article presents a study that examines the relationship of peak power output during a hexagonal barbell jump squat (HBJS), counter-movement jump (CMJ) height and linear acceleration speed in rugby players. The relation was analyzed using correlation analysis and by standard multiple regression. It was observed that HBJS and sprint time are inversely correlated. The study shows significant relationship between relative peak power output in HBJS, CMJ height and speed performance.
