Abstrakt: This study analyses the climate-yield relationship in rice production in Bangladesh using existing climate model projections. Scenarios A1B, A2, and B1 are used for the projections. The study finds that Boro rice is the most vulnerable to climate change among the three varieties in Bangladesh. To cope with the changing features of climate, Bangladesh needs to take up adaptive policies in rice production. This study argues that Bangladesh needs to strengthen institutional capacity for improving climate resilient rice varieties, develop climate resilient production technologies, and facilitate access to weather forecasts through early warning systems.
