The role of cerebellar abnormalities in neuromyelitis optica – a comparison with multiple sclerosis and healthy controls.

Abstrakt: The article presents a study which investigates the difference of spinal cord and cerebellar volume measures between patients with neuromyelitis optica (NMO) and relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). The study performed volumetric analyses of the cerebellum (TCV), the upper cervical cord (UCV), and the whole brain. The study showed reduced UCV in NMO patients compared with health controls (HC).
