Abstrakt:	This study used an original survey to evaluate the physical therapy and education needs of health care workers affiliated with a community hospital in the Dominican Republic. Results suggest that health care workers affiliated with this hospital could be an ideal audience to focus the initiation of a sustainable rehabilitation training program. The survey described can assist other academic physical therapy and medical programs in the planning and implementation of international service-learning opportunities for students and faculty by providing a guide for assessing the needs of local stakeholders.
