Abstrakt:	The article offers information on technological approach for hardening automotive camshafts. Topics discussed include induction heat treatment and scan hardening of camshafts, the single-shot hardening, and static induction hardening. Information on the patented non-rotational technology (SHarP-C™) and reduction of camshaft distortion is also given.
