Abstrakt: We derive an equilibrium equation of a magnetized plasma including electric fields, which gives the description of both tokamaks and magnetoelectric tori. Thus, this equation includes both the Grad-Shafranov equation and the equilibrium equations derived by T. H. Stix who proposed the plasma confinement by a magnetoelectric torus.
