Abstrakt: The article discusses international criminal law and the lessons that can be learned from China's prosecution of Japanese war criminals after World War II. Post-war justice is mentioned in relation to China's participation in the International Military Tribunal for the Far East following Japan's surrender in 1945. The Special Court for Sierra Leone is assessed, along with the prosecution of Liberian leader Charles Ghankay Taylor and the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg.
