Assessing the components' friction when conductor-and-support cables deformed state.

Abstrakt: Elaborated is a technique taking into account the friction at strain-energy method applied to conductor-andsupport cable system stiffness properties assessment serving to increase the accuracy of their distorted state mechanical model. For that purpose those components' specific deformation has been identified with respective elements, which represent experimental factors taking into account the friction, introduced into geometrical deformation equations. The suggested specific deformations' expressions include friction factors for the basic loading diagram of the conductor-and-support cables and he hoist cables that represents a valuable contribution to structural mechanics of the twisted wire products. This research results have significant practical value due to increased accuracy and reliability of the strength calculations therefore serving to a real economic effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
