Abstrakt: The article offers information on the history, development and significance of the international and domestic law for the effective management, shared conservation, and uses of the sea turtles in Caribbean coastlines and offshore waters of Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. Topics discussed include the biogeography of green turtles, the significance of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora in protecting sea turtles, and effect of offshore drilling.
