The article discusses the South Hartford Conveyance and Storage Tunnel (SHCST) project which aims to reduce combined sewer overflows (CSO), remove sanitary sewer overflows (SSO) and reduce nitrogen released into the Connecticut River. Topics discussed include the SHCST as part of the Hartford Metropolitan District's (MDC) long-term control plan (LTCP) and an overview of the design report for the SHCST project. |
