For the problems of existing radar calibration systems, such as high cost for application, inconvenient organization and implementation, unreliable obtaining way of true value, a new method for calibrating three-dimensional radar accuracy is proposed by taking the unmanned gyroplane carrying Beidou satellite location system as the target of detection. The calibration scheme for three-dimensional radar is designed according to the proposed method. The key technologies for the system implementation are studied. Finally, the test results of the system prototype are given. The results show that this method can truthfully reflect the system error of three - dimensional radar and compared with the traditional radar calibration measurements, it is more economic, much simpler, and more flexible.
