Abstrakt: The chemical properties of soil from restoration sites in Kunyang phosphate mining area, China, were determined to explore the relationship of each property. The results showed that the average levels of pH, organic matter, N, P, Mn, Cu, Zn, Cr, Ni, Ca, Na, Hg and As in 0-20 cm soil layer were higher than those values in 20-40 cm soil layer, whereas adverse results were found for K, Pb and Mg. Principle component analysis showed that P provided the most positive contribution to factor 1 which was strongly influenced by P, K, Ca, pH, Zn and Mn in both soil layers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
