Abstrakt: The article reports on research which compared linear and daily undulating periodized resistance training and their affects on anthropometrical, strength and judo specific performance. Researchers compared both training programs with 13 adult male judo athletes who underwent eight weeks of training. They found that both training programs led to decreases in skinfold thickness and increases in several other parameters, including flexed arm and forearm circumferences, maximal isometric handgrip strength and dynamic strength.
