Abstrakt: | The article explores the marketing, branding and economic strategies employed by entertainment companies Marvel Studios LLC and DC Comics Inc. It focuses on the acquisitions, corporate rebranding and mergers of these companies in the superhero genre. It contends that the more uniform brand identity of Marvel Studios was translated into greater critical and financial access. |
