The article discusses the findings of a descriptive analysis of the Ontario Pharmacy Smoking Cessation Program which was launched in September 2011 to leverage community pharmacists and expand access to smoking cessation services. Topics covered include the methods used in analyzing the Program, data relating to the Ontario Pharmacy Smoking Cessation services, duration and remuneration, and how the Program expanded professional pharmacy services in Ontario. |
