The article presents an interview with Christian Petzold, director of film "Phoenix". Petzold discusses the character of the film named Nelly Lenz, who is a German woman trying to stay in her country and regaining her previous identity. Petzold appreciates the acting of actor Ronald Zehrfeld in a difficult role in the film and when asked about his views on the critics calling the story of "Phoenix" as very movie-ish story, Petzold discusses why face of Nelly was not revealed in the film. |
