Coiling of guide wire in the internal jugular vein during central venous catheter insertion: A rare complication.

Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of a 35-year-old female patient of average build was admitted in hospital with 70 percent burn injury. It mentions that doctors attached electrocardiogram, non-invasive blood pressure, temperature and pulse oximetry monitors in the ward, where patient was kept. It also details complications can take place due to kinking or looping during the insertion of central venous catheters (CVC).
