| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the putative crisis of the nation-state throughout the world, referencing the global history of the nation-state from the 1890s through the early 21st century. The impact that globalization has on the sovereignty of the state, including in regard to power within the realm of international relations, is discussed. The role that rivalry between great imperialistic powers plays in the concept of the nation-state is also discussed. |
