Abstrakt: The article focuses on Canberra, Australian Capital Territory-based Grapefoodwine restaurant, owned by David Madew. In 2001, it was named Best Restaurant in a Winery at the Restaurant & Catering Australia's National Awards for Excellence. The restaurant's staff regularly examines wines before deciding what type of food is best suited to each wine. Madew then draws up the wine list, which includes his own wines and also those from other Australian boutique wineries. Desserts served at the restaurant are appreciated for their color and simplicity.
