Abstrakt: The article presents a case study of 66-year-old woman from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in China who was diagnosed with human infection with avian influenza (H7N9) virus. The woman purchased three live chickens from a poultry market on January 30, 2014, in which she experienced cough, mygalgia and fever. She also traveled to Sabah, Malaysia where she manifested symptoms of the disease like persistent fever, arthralgia, abdominal pain, diarrhea and worsening productive cough.
