| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the findings of a study to evaluate social support and health of Kuwaitis aged 60 years and above. It offers an overview of increasing life expectancy trends among the Kuwaiti population, and examines how changing family structures in Kuwaiti society are affecting social relationships within households. The article also attributes the lower blood pressure and better health of elderly Kuwaitis to religiosity and increased access to social support. |
