The musical is the genre which unites singing, movement/dance, acting and visual arts. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, the musical has an important role as the pedagogical tool in teaching children of different ages in general and music schools. The musical integrates music and non-music subjects, facilitating the learning of nonmusical terms and vice versa. Auditive, visual, kinesthetic and tactile ways of learning are integrated in the musical. The aspects of communication and music effects are achieved through the musical-it effects psychological development and enables the perception and understanding of integrated music parameters.
