[New report of insects of medical importance for the northeastern island chain of Camagüey. Preliminary report].

Abstrakt: The existence of a group of insect of medical importance belonging to the families Culicidae, Blattide, Muscidae, Tabanidae, Ceratopogonidae and Chloropidae was reported in the northwestern keys of Camagüey (keys Mégano Grande, Cruz, Romano and Güajaba). Key Romano seems to have the best ecological conditions for the establishment of such vectors according to the number of species reported.
