Abstrakt: Overall thirty patients with acute Q-wave myocardial infarction (AMI) were studied. There were ten cases among them of uncomplicated AMI, eight ones of AMI presenting with arrhythmias, 12 patients suffered from AMI complicated by acute left ventricular failure. The functional state of T-lymphocytes was studied with the aid of the fluorescent nucleus probing with acridine orange. At day 1 to 3 Q-wave AMI the synthetic activity of T-lymphocytes was found out to be on the decrease. By day 14 to 16, patients with AMI running a complicated course had high values for metabolic activity of T-lymphocytes, which fact might be indicative of poor prognosis.
