Abstrakt: A possibility to obtain physiologically active substances by means of biotransformation of natural carbohydrate raw material-ozokerite using the saprophite groups of microorganisms isolated from the medicinal water naftusia has been studied. It is shown that microorganisms metabolise ozokerite with following formation of the whole spectrum of water-soluble substances, activators and inhibitors of Na, K-ATPase, cholopoiesis stimulators being found among them. A conclusion has been made that using microorganisms inhabiting water naftusia can obtain from ozokerite organic substances conditioning physiologic activity of this medicinal water.
