Abstrakt: Serological examination of 84 foci of measles infection demonstrated that measles diagnosis was confirmed only in 69% of the foci and in 75.9% of the sick individuals. This pointed to the difficulties in the differential diagnosis of measles and other exanthema diseases, and led to the overstatement of the recorded measles foci and cases, particularly among the vaccinated. Therefore, serological confirmation of clinical measles diagnosis is necessary along with epidemiological morbidity analysis at the period of mass immunoprophylaxis.
