Abstrakt: Antegrade enema through an appendicostomy is effective in improving the quality of life for patients with incontinence or severe constipation. For patients without an appendix, a conventional gastrostomy button was used to create a cecostomy (or ileostomy) that served as a port for the administration of enema solutions.
