Abstrakt: Aggressive fibromatoses (desmoid tumors) are rare tumors of fibroblastic origin that may arise in any musculoaponeurotic structure with a propensity of infiltrate adjacent tissues, but not to metastasize. Tumors of musculoaponeurotic origin are seldom encountered by the gynecologist. A case of pelvic fibromatosis is reported together with a discussion of theories of etiology and management options.
