Abstrakt: The rate of tuberculosis detection in pregnant women and puerperae in Moscow 1.5 to 2.5 times surpassed the average incidence of tuberculosis in women in 1988-1992. Patients falling ill during or soon after pregnancy more frequently developed acute and complicated forms of the process similar by their origin to primary disease. Contact film thermoindication became an effective method for the detection of respiratory diseases in pregnant women (3/4 clinical thermoscopic coincidences). Among pregnant women, 6.5% are at risk of tuberculosis. These are women previously registered at tuberculosis control centers or with a history of contacts with tuberculosis patients, alcohol abusers, or women with stable thermoasymmetry.
