| Abstrakt: | The experiments on white rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits studied inhalation toxicity of piroxicam. The substance having strong cumulation (Jcum = 0.5) and embryotoxic effects (Limap = 0.1 mg/cum) is assigned to a group of parenchymatous poisons. Toxicometry data (CL50 = 250 mg/cum, Limac = 50 mg/cum, Limch = 0.5 mg/cum) prove the first jeopardy grade of the substance. The recommended MAC for workplace is 0.05 mg/cum. |
