Abstrakt: The authors obtained trophoblast culture from an early chorion of human embryo. Trophoblastic cells of the main 4 types described were: giant cells, with processes, fibro-blast-like, and round. All the cells were rich in RNA, glycoproteins, had a set of enzymes of the Krebs pentose cycle, but low activity of succinic dehydrogenase. A marked cytooxic effect of lymphocytes from healthy pregnant woman on the allogenous cells of the trophoblast culature and the absence of any interaction between the neoatal lymphocytes with the latter was revealed.
