Abstrakt: The method is based on the fact that patients' red cells with the specific antigens adsorbed on their surface, interacting with the specific antibodies, enter the hemagglutination reaction. 8% red cell suspension with diluted commercial sera hyperimmune to Salmonellae and Yersinia, serovars O3 and O9, are used in the test. The hemagglutination test was found sufficiently specific and sensitive for the detection of even the lowest concentrations of the specific antigen on the surface of red cell membranes in the patients with salmonellosis and yersiniosis.
